THE CASINA BY SAINT PETER'S

Charming apartment of about 40 square meters located in a very central area, walking distance from the Vatican and with very good bus connections to main tourist attractions. Subway station (line A) at 200 mt. Great shopping area. The apartment is located in a nice building of the 30ties characterized by a very large and pleasant internal courtyard full of plants, flowers and greeneries. The entrance to the building is in a small pedestrian street, with a small playground, many benches where to sit and a spectacular view of St.Peter's Cupola. The flat has been completely remodelled in August 2004 and can comfortably accommodate up to three persons. The apartment is composed by an entrance, a living area mostly occupied by a fully equipped kitchen, a large bedroom and a full bathroom with shower. The kitchen is equipped with stove (4 burners), regular electric oven (no microwave), dishwasher, large refrigerator, cabinets, plenty of dishes, glasses, pans, etc. All the kitchen furniture (and appliances) is new (less than 6 months) and very nice, in a bright red and steel. There is a table for 4, that can be extended in order to sit up to 6 people. The bedroom is quite large and dispose of one double + one single bed, a wardrobe for guests to use and a sitting area (armchairs). This room is air-conditioned. Very nice bathroom, full tiled, with wash-basin, toilet, bidet, shower and washing machine. Bed linen, towels and blankets are provided. Iron and ironing-table  - Sewing set Even if the place is rented as a self-catering apartment, guests will find basic food (sugar, salt, pepper, tea, oil, etc) and detergents, so that they don't need to shop for everything.  Portable crib (cot) on request at no charge. Cell phone (mobile) on request at no charge (to be used inside the apartment for emergencies or incoming calls) Pick-up service from/to the airport available on request.

THE AREA We are in the Prati neighborhood, at walking distance from St. Peter's square, the Vatican Museums, Castel Sant'Angelo, the old Borgo Pio. The subway station Cipro-Musei Vaticani (line A) is at 200 mt. and many bus connections lead in few minutes to main tourist attractions. There is a big green market close by and many shopping streets such as Via Ottaviano, via Cola di Rienzo, Via Candia.

Booking conditions

• Minimum stay four nights.
• 20% of total amount is required as deposit when booking.
• The deposit must be sent in Italian currency or Euro by bank transfer or draft, or by  personal check.
• The reservation is considered valid on receipt of payment.
• Full payment in Italian currency upon check in. No credit cards.
• Any changes regarding arrival dates have to be notified by fax or e-mail at least 15 days prior to arrival, otherwise the deposit will be lost.
